Roberto Vdović is founder and current president of FabLab Zagreb. With previous background in 3D modeling and visualization, his involvement in makers movement and additive technology start in 2005. and in 2010 he use Arduino platform to build first drone used for remote sensing (photogrammetry 3D terrain generation and thermal sensing) and 3D RepRap printer to demonstrate his students use of additive technology in building and architectural field. From 2012. he is promoting digital fabrication and makers culture to general population with special focus on the schools, further more elementary schools. He is strongly believe that paradigm shift in society can be achieved by using new tech and design thinking process with young individuals. His professional background bring intensive educational focus, but his personal background make sensibility for people with special needs what is second important field of his interest.
