Nikola Andonov is an architect and researcher based in Belgrade where he runs partner-based studio MADA and digital fabrication workshop Fab Lab Belgrade (under construction).
In 2011 he graduated from Faculty of Architecture at the University of Belgrade where he was also involved in the development of student’s workshops and excursions.
Probably his biggest professional success so far was representing Republic of Serbia at the XII Biennale of architecture in Venice with the project JEDAN:STO/100 together with nine more authors and friends.
In the past three years he has been running MADA architecture studio with a wide scope of competition and built projects.
MADA studio has also won several significant prizes, among which is the National competition for the Interior design of the Serbian Pavilion at the EXPO2015 in Milan and Al Shaheed Monument and Memorial in Kuwait .
His current efforts are directed towards opening a digital workshop and a multidisciplinary centre, Fab Lab Belgrade where all kinds of makers, engineers and designers will be able to share their thoughts, knowledge, ideas and projects.
Nikola has won numerous awards and recognitions in the fields of architecture, graphic design and film, participated at various group exhibitions and has held several lectures on architecture, mentorship and entrepreneurship at national and international meetings.
